Nader Moavenian, DDS, graduated from the University of Toronto and earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Michigan in 1996. He completed an internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his specialty training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Woodhull Medical Center in New York City. His training included five years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training.
Dr. Moavenian is a full scope oral and maxillofacial surgeon with expertise ranging from dental implants to corrective jaw surgery, facial injuries, wisdom teeth removal, and pediatric and adolescent oral surgery. Dr. Moavenian is a leading expert in the field of dental implants and frequently lectures on this subject. He also has a special interest in management of wisdom teeth and general anesthesia. His offices are state-of-the-art surgical facilities equipped with the most current sterilization, anesthesia monitoring, and imaging equipment. He and his staff are committed to providing compassionate care of the highest quality, in a timely and considerate manner.
Dr. Moavenian is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is an active member of the Greater Nashua Dental Society, the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Dental Association. He is also a fellow of the American Society of Dental Anesthesia. As an active member of the hospital staff at St. Joseph’s Medical Center, and Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Dr. Moavenian provides emergency care to patients with complex maxillofacial trauma. He is regularly re-certified in Basic Life Support (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
Dr. Moavenian enjoys spending time with his wife Kristin, and his wonderful children, Isabel and Aidan. His hobbies include skiing, kayaking, triathlons and tennis.
